DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy

How UAE HR Hub responds to copyright notices and counter-notifications.

UAE HR Hub respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. This DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy explains how copyright owners or their authorized agents can submit a takedown request, how we review notices, and how users can submit a counter-notification if they believe a removal was made in error. This policy is designed to be clear, fair, and compliant with applicable copyright rules.

1) Scope and purpose

UAE HR Hub provides UAE HR tools, salary calculators, payroll guidance, and educational articles. We do not knowingly host or publish content that infringes the rights of others. If you believe content on this website infringes your copyright, you may submit a formal DMCA notice. Upon receipt of a compliant notice, we will review and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material.

This policy applies to copyright claims only. For other concerns such as trademark, privacy, defamation, or content accuracy, please contact us using the details in the Contact section so we can direct your request appropriately.

2) Submitting a DMCA takedown notice

To submit a DMCA takedown notice, you must provide a written communication that includes all information required by law. Incomplete or inaccurate notices may delay processing or be rejected. Please ensure your notice includes the following:

  • Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A detailed description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, including the original source or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
  • The exact URL(s) on UAE HR Hub that you believe are infringing, so we can locate the material quickly.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

If you are an authorized representative, please include documentation showing your authority to act on the copyright owner’s behalf. We may request additional information if needed to verify the request.

3) Helpful information to include

While not required, the following details can help us resolve your request more quickly:

  • Dates of publication or ownership evidence for the original work.
  • Clear identification of which portions of the content are allegedly infringing.
  • Any relevant licensing terms or permissions that clarify the ownership status.

Providing precise and complete information reduces the risk of delays or misidentification.

4) Where to send a notice

Please email DMCA notices to support@uaehrhub.com. Use the subject line “DMCA Takedown Notice” to help us identify your request quickly. We may request additional information if needed to verify your claim.

We aim to review valid notices within a reasonable timeframe. The exact timing may vary depending on the complexity of the request and the volume of incoming notices.

5) Our review and response process

Upon receiving a complete DMCA notice, we will:

  • Review the notice for completeness and legal sufficiency.
  • Locate the content identified in the notice.
  • Remove or disable access to the content if warranted.
  • Notify the user or contributor who provided the material, where applicable.
  • Document the notice and our actions for compliance and record-keeping purposes.

We may also evaluate whether the identified content appears to fall within legally permitted uses. However, we do not provide legal advice and may still remove content while the parties resolve the dispute.

6) Counter-notification process

If you believe your content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. A valid counter-notice must include:

  • Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Identification of the content that was removed and the original URL(s).
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable court and will accept service of process from the party who submitted the original DMCA notice.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Send counter-notifications to support@uaehrhub.com with the subject line “DMCA Counter-Notice.” If the counter-notice is valid, we may forward it to the original complainant. Unless the copyright owner initiates legal action within the required timeframe, we may restore the content as permitted by law.

7) Repeat infringer policy

UAE HR Hub has a policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, users or contributors who are repeat infringers. We also reserve the right to limit access or remove content from any user who repeatedly violates intellectual property rights, even if violations do not meet the legal definition of repeat infringement.

We may keep records of DMCA notices and counter-notices to help enforce this policy and to ensure consistent and fair treatment across requests.

8) Good faith and misrepresentation

Submitting a DMCA notice or counter-notice is a serious legal matter. Any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that content is infringing or that it was removed in error may be subject to liability. Please ensure that your claims are accurate and submitted in good faith. We may decline to process notices that appear abusive or intended to suppress lawful content.

9) Fair use considerations

Certain uses of copyrighted content may be permitted under fair use or similar exceptions, such as for commentary, criticism, teaching, or research. We encourage complainants and users to consider whether a use might be legally permissible before submitting a notice or counter-notice.

UAE HR Hub does not provide legal advice. If you are unsure about your rights or obligations, consult a qualified legal professional before proceeding.

10) Policy updates

We may update this DMCA policy periodically to reflect changes in law, industry standards, or operational practices. Updates will be posted on this page. Continued use of UAE HR Hub after an update signifies acceptance of the revised policy.

11) Record keeping and transparency

We may keep internal records of DMCA notices, counter-notices, and our responses. These records help us administer the policy consistently, detect repeat infringement patterns, and provide transparency if questions arise later. We do not publish private contact details from notices, but we may share a copy of a valid notice or counter-notice with the opposing party as required by the DMCA process.

If you submit a notice or counter-notice, you acknowledge that the other party may receive your contact information so they can respond appropriately. Please use a business address and contact details if you prefer not to disclose personal information.

12) International considerations

UAE HR Hub is operated from the United Arab Emirates, but the DMCA process may apply to content accessed or hosted in other jurisdictions. If you are located outside the United States, you may still submit a DMCA notice, but you should understand that the process is rooted in U.S. copyright law. You may also have additional rights or obligations under your local laws.

We encourage international users to seek independent advice to understand how copyright and takedown rules apply in their jurisdiction. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable law.
